Panagia Orfani Monastery

The monastery in Lagadia!
The Monastery is located in the center west of Kythira, 5.2 kilometers from the traditional village of Mylopotamos. The area is rich in bushy vegetation, where there are centuries-old cedars that, in combination with the plane trees and the vegetation of the langadia that passes below the Monastery, offer a unique natural environment. The small monastery is built on a steep cliff offering a unique view, with the gorge below and the Ionian Sea in the background.
